Founder's story
From inside large U.S. corporations to your side of the table.
I spent more than eight years in the U.S. market inside large corporations and multinationals. My work sat where the big decisions are made: corporate planning, customer development, venture capital analysis, megatrend and technology synergy projects, growth strategy and M&A.
I led projects of around US$3.5 million, working in cross-functional teams with directors and C-level executives. That is where I learned how large companies decide. They test assumptions before they commit, they set clear gates, and someone owns the numbers.
Growing companies rarely have that discipline available when they cross a border. Many arrive in the U.S. with a strong product and a plan built on home-market assumptions, and they find out what does not hold after the money is spent.
I founded Marroffino & Partners in New York to close that gap. We bring large-company methods to small and mid-sized businesses, and we stay for the work that follows the decision: the company, the operation, the partners and the team.
